Real Deals: Chaparral Apartments in Fort Worth sold

Fort Worth Business obtains some of its Real Deals content through a partnership with Xceligent Inc., a commercial real estate research firm.

Chaparral Apartments in Fort Worth has been sold to a limited liability company. The 134-unit property is at 6520 Red Sierra Drive.

John Barker, Alexander Skotarek, Daniel Burton and Trey McGhin of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services’ Fort Worth office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, EB Real Estate Group LLC. The buyer also was represented by Barker.

OF SCENIC VISTA APARTMENTS

Westpoint at Scenic Vista apartment community has gained $25 million in refinancing from CBRE Group Inc.’s FHA lending platform.

The $25,164,600 refinancing loan was made to renovate the 264-unit property at 1200 Scenic Vista Drive in west Fort Worth.

Funding the loan was the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Section 223(f), providing a 35-year, fixed-rate loan structure.

The complex with 132 one-bedroom units and 132 two-bedroom units was built in 2008.

Chad Ricks and Stephanie McFadden of CBRE originated the financing.

An 18-building flex portfolio at 525 Nolen Drive in Southlake has been sold to Southlake Flex Properties LLC. McGee and Associates and Unltd Providential Realty Partners represented the seller, Lago Del Sur LLC. Stephen Swann of Belfort Assets representing the buyer.
