CityLine adds Fernado’s

CityLine announced Nov. 10 Fernando’s Mexican Cuisine has opened at the 186-acre mixed-use project in Richardson.

Fernando’s offers upscale Tex-Mex dining with the continental influence of Mexico City. This will be the third Fernando’s location in the Dallas area, with the other two locations in Preston Hollow and Knox/Henderson’s Travis Walk.

“We are thrilled to welcome one of my all-time favorite restaurants to CityLine – Fernando’s Mexican Cuisine,” said KDC CEO Steve Van Amburgh. “I have been a guest at Fernando and Anne Padilla’s other locations for years and know this family-owned establishment is sure to be a hit with the guests at CityLine thanks to its fabulous menu and fun atmosphere.”

The lunch and dinner menu includes fajitas, brisket tacos and shrimp enchiladas. The menu also offers regional dishes like Mexican street tacos, sizzling pollo asado, and grilled red snapper with tequila lime sauce. Fernando’s flaming tres leches cake, sopapillas, and homemade pralines provide a delicious end to one’s meal. Weekend brunch serves classics such as huevos rancheros, breakfast tacos, and chilaquiles, along with brunch beverages. The restaurant features well-priced weekday lunch specials and a festive happy hour, with quick to-go orders and catering services also available.

“For nearly twelve years, it has been my goal to provide exceptional food and service to a most gracious and loyal clientele,” said Fernando’s founder and namesake Fernando Padilla. “It is indeed a privilege and an honor to now have the opportunity to bring this concept to the neighborhoods of Richardson and Plano.”

The 5,115-square-foot Fernando’s is located at 1250 State Street, next to Edoko Sushi & Robata.

“This state-of-the-art office will greatly enhance our ability to serve the needs of the area’s growing number of home buyers and sellers for many more years to come,” said Mary Frances Burleson, president and CEO of the Ebby Halliday Cos., which includes Ebby Halliday, REALTORS, Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate and Williams Trew Real Estate, as well as affiliated companies Texas Premier Title, Home Team Insurance and Home Team Mortgage Co.

The new 10,500-square-foot stand-alone building, designed by architect Michael Twichell, whose work includes The Shops at Legacy in Plano and the Angelika Film Center in Dallas, will replace the company’s current Allen office, which opened in 2006. Near the intersection of State Highway 121 and U.S. Highway 75, Ebby’s new Allen office will offer a highly visible location and the latest in technology. A “one-stop residential real estate shop,” it will also offer title, mortgage and insurance services.

“The location of our new office is phenomenal,” said Diane Hausler, who has served as sales manager of Ebby Halliday, REALTORS’ Allen Office since 2010. “It is ideally situated near the thriving StarCreek development and offers easy access to the entire 121 Corridor.”

The new Ebby Allen Office will feature collaboration centers where Associates and clients may meet to discuss residential real estate needs. Cutting-edge technology, including Apple TVs, will help the office’s Associates assist buyers with their home searches and sellers with their understanding of current local market trends.
