Fort Worth Business Press obtains some of its Real Deals content through a partnership with Xceligent Inc., a commercial real estate research firm.
Forest Oaks Apartments in Arlington has been sold to the Dallas commercial real estate firm Westmount Realty Capital LLC. Westmount plans to rebrand the 164-unit complex at 2408 Forest Oaks Lane as Westmount at Forest Oaks.
“This property provided Westmount an ‘off market’ acquisition opportunity with a strong potential for successful repositioning,” said Michael Anderson of Westmount, commenting in a news release. “Additionally, the location of Westmount at Forest Oaks is in an area of North Texas with a strong current and projected job growth.”
Westmount at Forest Oaks is minutes away from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Lockheed Martin Corp., GM and Bell Helicopter-Textron Inc., among other major employers. It offers 116 one-bedroom units and 48 two-bedroom units.

Avenue 900 apartments in Euless has been sold. An unnamed buyer bought the 300-unit property at 900 Grange Hall Drive. Will Balthrope, Drew Kile, Joey Tumminello and Rowan Burch of Institutional Property Advisors, a division of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, represented the buyer and seller and procured the buyer.
