Hawkins & Walker moving to larger space near downtown FW
Hawkins & Walker PC of Fort Worth has leased 4,000 square feet in an office building on the northwest side of downtown at 320 Purcey St.
The law firm will relocate into the larger space in June, moving from its current location at 701 W. Belknap St.
Graham Stiles of RE/MAX Trinity’s Fort Worth office represented the law firm in negotiating the lease agreement. Jamie White Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“The new location is just two blocks from our current office and is more easily accessible for our clients and staff,” said Andrew Hawkins, a defense attorney with the firm, commenting in a news release.
The firm plans to occupy the entire building when it relocates.
BENBROOK DQ SOLD
The Silver Group has negotiated the sale of a Dairy Queen restaurant at 8636 Benbrook Blvd. in Benbrook. The 3,000-square-foot eatery sits on a 1.1-acre parcel along U.S. Highway 377. The tenant, Vasari LLC, is among the state’s largest Dairy Queen operators. The net lease had a new 20-year term beginning on the closing date. Greg Cunha of The Silver Group represented the family trust in the transaction.
CHICAGO PIZZA LEASES IN FW
The Vitorino Group, a Dallas-based commercial real estate investment sales firm, has arranged the sale of an Old Chicago Pizza ground lease in Fort Worth. The property is located on a 2.3-acre tract at Presidio Towne Crossing, a 600,000-square-foot retail center anchored by a SuperTarget and Costco in North Fort Worth.
LAREDO-BASED HAULER BUYS

GRT Transportation of Laredo has purchased almost 4.2 acres in Redbird Industrial Park in southwest Dallas to develop a trucking terminal.
Jean Russo of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented the seller, Ace Investments Inc.
“This site has one of the best views of the city of Dallas. That really was the dealmaker,” said Chris Mendez of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance DFW in Arlington, who represented the buyer of record, CRG Properties LLC. The property is located at 4321 W. Ledbetter Drive.
GRT plans to build a small office building as well as pave and erect a fence on the property.
GRT provides long-haul and regional trucking services, as well as border-crossing deliveries. The company also has terminals in Toledo, Ohio, and Laredo.
