May Group renews lease at FW industrial park

May Group International has renewed its lease for 138,000 square feet at Carter Industrial Park in South Fort Worth. The location serves as the advertising agency’s headquarters and production facility.

The firm has leased two office-warehouses with 60,000 square feet and 78,000 feet at 1200 Forum Way South since 2013, when it inked a sale-leaseback with Hangover Opportunity Fund LLC. The landlord is May Sound Crazy.

Theron Bryant of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance DFW handled negotiations for the transaction.

The 11.5-acre tract is located off Everman Parkway near Interstate 35W. The May Group maintains a 10,000-square-foot headquarters in the smaller building, with the sister structure housing 500 square feet of office space and 77,500 square feet of warehouse space. The complex also is used for design, shipping and warehouse functions.

WOODLANDS APARTMENTS

IN ARLINGTON SOLD

The Woodlands of Arlington has been sold to a private real estate firm. The 264-unit apartment community is located at 2800 Lynnwood Drive in Arlington.

Al Silva of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services’ Fort Worth office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a Dallas-based partnership that had owned the property for more than 25 years. The buyer also was secured by Silva and Ford Braly, a colleague. The new owner plans a multimillion-dollar renovation to make the property more appealing and competitive in the local rental market.

2900 Meacham LLC has purchased a 250,000-square-foot warehouse at 2900 Meacham Blvd. in Fort Worth. Chance Olin and Donnie Rohde of Holt Lunsford Commercial represented the seller, and Ryan Wood of TCRG Properties represented the buyer.

IM=X Pilates has leased 2,052 square feet at 3801-3821 Southwest Blvd. in Fort Worth. Walter Owen of Walter Owen Properties represented the landlord.

Engineered Wall Systems has leased 3,600 square feet at Riverbend, Building 24, 7501-7529 Pebble Drive in Fort Worth. George Jennings, Donnie Rohde and Jake Neal of Holt Lunsford-Fort Worth represented the landlord.

U.S. Foods has leased 30,459 square feet at 3420 Avenue F in Arlington. Fred Deal of Jackson & Cooksey Inc.-Dallas/Ft. Worth represented the landlord.

Sound Technologies has leased 12,442 square feet at Oakhollow Business Park, 2409 Avenue J in Arlington. David Dunn of Dunn Commercial represented the landlord.

Ideal Dental has leased 1,977 square feet at The Village at Ballpark, Building A, 2150 E. Lamar Blvd. in Arlington. Jon McDaniel and Cameron Haddad of NAI Robert Lynn-retail division represented the landlord.

Curves has leased 1,953 square feet at Bardin Square Shopping Center, 1100-1120 E. Bardin Road in Arlington. Troy Morgan of Structure Commercial represented the tenant and landlord.

Ascot Insurance has leased 1,690 square feet at Brookhollow Two, 2221 E Lamar Blvd. in Arlington. Bryan Graham of CBRE-Arlington represented the landlord.

Hudson Oaks Creekside Ltd. has purchased 19.41 acres in the Parker County town of Hudson Oaks from Larry Jr. Land & Cattle II LLC for a planned 440-unit apartment community and 30,000 square feet of retail space. Gary Vasseur of Vasseur Commercial Real Estate Inc. represented the buyer, with Dick Myers, also of Vasseur Commercial, representing the seller.

Arguindegui Oil Co. has leased 12,916 square feet of warehouse space at 307 Ferris Ave. in Waxahachie from W&H Interests EW Wetzel. Brock Wilson and Joe Santaularia of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the landlord.

M.I. Patel has leased 2,543 square feet of office space in 2929 NCX at 2929 North Central Expressway in Richardson. Layne Mayfield of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, CREA Investments.

Mitsubishi has leased 6,862 square feet of office space in Preston Park Financial Center, 4965 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano. Clint Madison and Rodney Helm of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Griffin Partners.
