An 8,508-square-foot medical office building in Mansfield has sold for an undisclosed amount. The property is located in the Creekside Plaza office development a mile from the Mansfield Methodist Hospital complex. The seller was represented by Ken Wimberly of KW Net Lease Advisors.
Marcus & Millichap has sold Kennedale Self Storage, a 36,810-square-foot self-storage facility at 813 East Kennedale Parkway in Kennedale, according to Kyle Palmer, vice president/regional manager of the firm’s Fort Worth office.
Brandon Karr, first vice president investments, and Danny Cunningham, senior associate in Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Worth office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a local private investor who built the property in 1985. Cunningham and Karr generated six offers. The buyer is a private, Dallas-based owner/operator with a portfolio of more than 12 self-storage facilities throughout the United States.
Kennedale Self Storage has 324 non-climate controlled drive-up storage units on about 2.29 acres. It was built in phases between 1985 and 1998 and has an on-site manager’s residence, brick facade, 24-hour video surveillance, garage-style roll-up doors, wide concrete driveways, perimeter fencing and lighting, personalized electronic gate code access, and an LED monument sign on Highway 287 Business.
Marcus & Millichap has also sold Town Villa, a 12-unit apartment property located at 116 North Wilson St. in Burleson, according to Palmer.
Trey McGhin, a member of the National Multi Housing Group in Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Worth office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a Texas-based limited liability company. The buyer, a partnership, was secured by McGhin. Town Villa was built in 1964 and has undergone interior renovations with resurfaced countertops, vinyl plank flooring and ceramic tile surrounding the bathtubs.
