Real Deals: Moni’s Pasta & Pizza renews lease

The Fort Worth Business Press obtains some of its Real Deals content through a partnership with Xceligent Inc., a commercial real estate research firm. Moni’s Pasta & Pizza renews Arlington lease Moni’s Pasta & Pizza Restaurant customers, rejoice; the longtime Arlington eatery has renewed its lease with three, five-year options for its anchor spot in central Arlington. “Moni’s is an icon for this area. Securing a renewal of this length was a real coup for the landlord of Park Center,” said Chris Mendez of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance DFW, commenting in a news release. Mendez represented the landlord, Randol Mill Fielder LLC, in direct negotiations with restaurant owner Moni Kaba. The 36-seat restaurant occupies 3,646 square feet of the 88 percent-leased, 26,066-square-foot Park Center, at 1730 W. Randol Mill Road. Twelve tenants currently occupy the property, leaving 2,700 square feet of available space. Kaba has almost five decades in the restaurant business, landing his first job at 15 when his family moved to Italy from Macedonia in 1965. He immigrated to the United States in 1974 and opened a diner in Connecticut, where he met his wife. They moved to Dallas in 1980 and opened two restaurants and a catering business before moving to Florida in 1986. They came back to Texas in 1994.

ADVANCE AUTO PARTS OPENS IN MANSFIELD Advance Auto Parts Inc. has opened its first Mansfield store at 152 W. Debbie Lane. Serving as general manager is Stephanie Crispin, a 14-year company veteran who is supervising 11 other team members. The store sells automotive aftermarket parts and serves both professional installers and do-it-yourself customers. Advance Auto Parts Inc., based in Roanoke, Va., operates 5,305 stores and 109 Worldpac branches and serves about 1,350 independently owned Carquest-branded stores in 49 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Canada.
