Sundt Construction Inc. opened its new Irving office in June. Located adjacent to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, the office houses employee-owners from the contractor’s transportation team.
Sundt is performing several transportation projects in Texas, including State Highway 31 bypass in Corsicana, U.S. 175 expansion in Henderson County, GO 10 project in El Paso, San Pedro Creek and Interstate 10 “Old Fredericksburg” highway improvements project in San Antonio.
“The move gives us more room as we continue work on our current projects and will allow us to better support the state’s continued growth and subsequent transportation needs,” said Jeff Williamson, senior vice president and Transportation Group manager.
Sundt has a history of nearly 50 years and more than $2 billion in projects throughout Texas. Among the general contractor’s most iconic Texas projects are the West Seventh Street Bridge in Fort Worth, Reunion Tower in Dallas, Legacy Town Centers in Plano and the new airfield at Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
