Ridglea Square Apartments sold
Fort Worth Business obtains some of its Real Deals content through a partnership with Xceligent Inc., a commercial real estate research firm.
Ridglea Square Apartments has been sold, with Bellfast Glen Investments LLC snapping up the Fort Worth property at 6020 Malvey Ave.
Boyan Radic, Doug Banerjee, Andrew Mueller and Ryan Hill of The Greysteel Co. represented the property owner in the transaction.
“Ridglea Square Apartments presented an attractive opportunity to purchase a stable asset in a highly sought after location with proven rent increase potential after modest unit upgrades,” said Mueller, a Greysteel investment associate, commenting in a news release.
Greysteel is a commercial real estate and capital markets services firm with offices in Fort Worth; Dallas; Los Angeles; Washington, D.C.; Baltimore, Md.; and Philadelphia.
Americanstar Mattress leases Arlington space
Americanstar Mattress LLC has leased 25,230 square feet of warehouse space at 1185 W. Corporate Drive in Arlington.
“It is newly remodeled space with a layout that works very well for them,” said Will Dillard of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services.
Americanstar selected the location, in the Great Southwest Industrial District, following a three-month search focused on the Great Southwest and Mid-Cities to be near suppliers, customers and competitors.
Dillard represented the California-based tenant, which also has a distribution center in Houston. Bill Bexley of JSC Realty Investment Services Inc. represented the landlord, Avenue J Partnership Ltd., of the now fully leased, 50,265-square-foot industrial building.
Vista Ridge retail center acquired
Vista Ridge retail center in Lewisville has been sold, with Evans Properties purchasing the 15,925-square-foot shopping center at 2417 South Stemmons Freeway.
Pierson Retail Advisors represented the seller, an out-of-state investor.
The property comprises a 15,925-square-foot building and a 5,700-square-foot single-tenant structure.
Vista Ridge is fully occupied by several tenants, including Jared Jewelers, Hallmark, La Madeleine, Apple Orthodontix and SAS Comfort Shoes.
Circle U Foods Inc. has renewed its lease for 64,866 square feet of warehouse space at 751 Eight Twenty Blvd. in Fort Worth. Nick Talley of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the landlord, Exeter 700-751 Eight Twenty Blvd. LP, in the direct deal.
