FWopens.com is a new free local resource powered by League Real Estate. It is offering a way to see all open houses in the Fort Worth area at one online location. Since there wasn’t an easy local place to see all the open houses in one place, League Real Estate officials said they decided to create one, pulling directly from MLS. Want to own a motocross raceway?
Just 50 miles northeast of Fort Worth, Oak Hill Raceway, a fully operational, nationally recognized motocross racing venue with over 40 years of Texas racing history, is on the market for $2.39 million.
The property covers 185 fenced acres and features a 4,268-square-foot home built in 2011 with pool, two large scoring and viewing towers, a 3,200-square-foot equipment barn with workshop, and more than 200 RV camping spots with utility hookups.
While motocross racers from across the globe compete and train at Oak Hill Raceway each year since it opened in 1975, the venue has great facilities and landscape for multipurpose uses in addition to the motorcycling events.
“This is a rare opportunity for a buyer to continue running the raceway as a motocross facility or easily modify it for other uses,” said Kate Asay of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, who is listing the property. “The track has some of the nicest infrastructure and track viewing sight lines of any mx facility.”
The facility is home to the annual GNC International Motocross Final as well as many regional motocross and off-road events. It is located in Alvord in northern Wise County.
