The Fort Worth Business Press obtains some of its Real Deals content through a partnership with Xceligent Inc., a commercial real estate research firm. Transwestern chosen for WestBend pre-leasing WestBend planning continues, with Transwestern chosen to pre-lease office space for the mixed-use development just west of the Fort Worth Zoo along University Drive. Its office component covers about 57,000 square feet in a four-story, 81,150-square-foot building anchored by The Fresh Market on the ground level. Pre-leasing is underway, with the building expected to open by summer 2015. Representing Trademark in leasing are Transwestern’s Kirk Kelly and Jack Huff. When complete, WestBend will offer new retail and restaurants as well as the office component. Upon completion, the project will include 278,000 square feet of retail, dining and office space.
HUNT MORTGATE GROUP PROVIDES LOAN TO ACQUIRE LEBLANC VILLAS Hunt Mortgage Group has provided a Fannie Mae loan facilitating the acquisition of The Villas at LeBlanc Park at 6250 Granbury Cut Off in Fort Worth. The borrower is Villas LeBlanc LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Managing the property will be Aldwin Management, an owner-affiliated company that invests in and manages multifamily properties. It currently manages six properties offering nearly 1,500 units. Hunt Mortgage Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hunt Companies Inc., is a real estate finance company providing financing and investing for conventional and affordable multifamily housing throughout the nation.
