Fort Worth Business Press obtains some of its Real Deals content through a partnership with Xceligent Inc., a commercial real estate research firm.
Tarrant County-based Worthington National Bank recently broke ground on a 13,300-square-foot building in West Fort Wort at the southeast corner of Edwards Ranch and Bryant Irvin roads.
The new branch is scheduled to open next fall.
“Expanding our bank means more convenience for new and existing clients on the west side of Fort Worth,” said Worthington President Cee Yager. “Providing the best possible banking experience is our main priority, and this new location gives us the chance to cater to even more customers than before.”
Contractor for the project is the Fort Worth firm Muckleroy & Falls.

LEASES FORT WORTH SPACE
Bluestack Systems Inc., a California software firm, has leased 1,336 square feet at 910 Houston St., Suite 106, in Fort Worth’s Central Business District for its first North Texas office. The space is a converted ground floor of the downtown building.

ON THE BORDER SOLD
IN NW FORT WORTH
The On The Border restaurant in northwest Fort Worth has been sold to an unnamed buyer. The 5,936-square-foot property is located at 5901 Quebec St. just off Northwest Loop 820.
Terms of the sale were not released.

FRISCO RETAIL CENTER
NAMES MAJOR TENANTS
99 Ranch Market, Daiso Japan and 85°C Bakery Cafe have been confirmed as anchor tenants for Frisco Ranch, a retail center planned to front Preston Road in Frisco.
The newly acquired 110,000-square-foot specialty retail property is planned for nine acres just northeast of the Preston Road-Warren Parkway intersection. The site was acquired through direct negotiations between the seller, Lebanon Joint Venture, and Houston-based NewQuest Properties, which was represented by Heather Nguyen, development partner, and John Nguyen, associate.
Designed by Callaway Architecture of Dallas, Frisco Ranch is expected to open next summer.
