Carlisle Title opens Fort Worth office
Carlisle Title of Texas LLC signed a lease for a new 2,256-square-foot office at 2800 S. Hulen St. in the River Tree Plaza I building. As part of Carlisle Title’s network of offices, the new location offers title and closing services for residential, commercial, lender and bank title needs.
“We are excited to be in Fort Worth – a vibrant big city with a small-town feel and wonderful people,” said Carlisle Title President Buzz McCray. “We are confident our Fort Worth team will set the new standard of excellence for title services in the area.”
Longtime Fort Worth resident, attorney and Texas Christian University alumna Sharon Fulgham and title industry veteran Chris Howard will lead the new office.

Trademark adds Walsh as senior rep
Trademark Property Co., the Fort Worth-based retail and mixed-use development, investment and institutional services firm, has added Gavin Walsh as senior leasing representative. With 12 years of experience in retail leasing and development, Walsh will support leasing efforts for three of Trademark’s mixed-use properties: Waterside in Fort Worth, Watters Creek in Allen and Hillside Village in Cedar Hill.
“Gavin brings a proven track record of strategic and successful leasing efforts, and we look forward to putting his talents to work at these three key Trademark properties,” said Steve Toppel, executive vice president of leasing, Trademark.
Previously Walsh was a senior leasing representative for The Shopping Center Group in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he was responsible for leasing a portfolio of more than 3 million square feet. He also worked as a broker for Katz & Associates, completing business development and brokerage activities in North Carolina and South Carolina. Earlier in his career, he was a vice president for Cushman & Wakefield/Commercial Carolina and an associate director for Channel Partners LLC.
Walsh is a licensed real estate broker and member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate management from Western Michigan University.
MOORE CONSTRUCTION
BUILDING SPEC CENTER
Bob Moore Construction of Arlington has broken ground on a 350,000-square-foot Interpoint Distribution Center in Wilmer, Texas, on behalf of Houston developer Skyhawk Partners.
The new speculative space distribution center will be located along the Interstate 45 frontage road in Wilmer in southeast Dallas County. Built with tilt-up construction, this cross-dock distribution facility will feature a 32-foot clear height, with decorative finishing and aluminum composite panel canopies at the exterior. Construction is in the site work phase and is planned for completion later in 2017.
COMING ATTRACTION
Galaxy Theatres will join the Grandscape development in The Colony, the Dallas-based luxury movie theatre company announced in January. Galaxy will break ground this year on an 85,000-square-foot, 16-screen venue with a projected open date of spring 2019.

Clifford Crossing, a 4,300-square-foot retail strip on the northwest corner of Clifford Street and Loop 820 in West Fort Worth, has been purchased by Blazing Meadows Investments LLC for an undisclosed price from MG Retail Partners, who developed the property in a joint venture with Vaquero Ventures. This is the first U.S. investment for South African-based Blazing Meadows Investments. Clifford Crossing was built in 2016 and is 100 percent leased. Michael Austry CBRE in Dallas represented the seller, and Karim Budri with Gharbieh + Associates in Dallas represented the buyer.
Wilbow-Morningstar Development Inc. sold 150 lots in the Morningstar Addition in Aledo to HMH Lifestyles LP. Lester Day with Transwestern and Matt Bilardi represented the seller.
