The city of Fort Worth has discussed purchasing the building as a potential City Hall, but no specific plan has been proposed.
The planning process kicked off at the Dec. 3 City Council meeting, where a postal official outlined the process for relocating the postal service’s retail business. The next step involves receiving resident comments, expected to play a role in whether officials decide to sell or close the building.
