Rockler Woodworking and Hardware is celebrating the grand re-opening of its Arlington location at 3810 S. Cooper St. with a larger store footprint and expanded product categories on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The new Rockler store will gain an additional 2,000 square feet – for a total footprint of over 6,000 square feet – and expand its available product categories to include knobs, pulls, hinges, turning tools, carving, jigs, safety and specialty hardware, the company said in a news release.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the Arlington area with our new and improved retail space,” said Joe Kester, Rockler vice president of retail. “The woodworkers of this area are passionate, engaged and ready to grow, so we want to be there to help them take their craft to the next level.”
To celebrate, Rockler is hosting in-store events at the Arlington store throughout the month of October. Events include an official “board cutting,” product giveaways, technique demonstrations and a meet-and-greet with YouTuber April Wilkerson.
The store’s grand opening activities will run for four weeks, with the majority of events occurring on Saturdays:

11:00 – Free Demo: Router Techniques
