Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th unveils its newly remodeled store at Grapevine Mills Mall on Friday May 10, 2013. The store, as well as a location in Milpitas, Calif., has been remodeled in the company’s “luxury-in-a-loft” design, featuring a modern, uncluttered layout with an open floor plan, moveable fixtures and bright lighting. “We look forward to offering customers of both communities a deluxe shopping environment with a great selection of designers, the latest fashion and high-quality merchandise at an extraordinary value,” said company president Robert Wallstrom, commenting in a news release. Three Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th stores operate in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including at Grapevine Mills, with neighboring stores in Grand Prairie and Dallas. The approximate 35,000-square-foot store in Grapevine features designer and contemporary brands available at outlet prices, including women’s and men’s apparel, fine jewelry, handbags, shoes and children’s collections. In celebration of the renovated stores, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th has partnered with Style for Hire, a national network of personal stylists handpicked by Stacy London, host of The Learning Channel’s What Not to Wear, to offer in-person consultations and on-demand shopping advice at the stores’ launch party on Thursday May 9. During the launch party, 5 percent of Thursday evening’s sales will benefit Dress for Success Dallas and San Jose, a nonprofit organization that promotes the independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
