Having recently signed its first franchise agreement in Fort Worth, The Work Lodge, a shared workspace concept based in Houston, is gearing up for national expansion with the announcement of its franchise plans.
Slated to open in March 2019, The Work Lodge of Fort Worth will be located at 710 S. Main St. The opening will mark the first of four locations that owner Heather Carlile would like to open in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Work Lodge will occupy 12,655 square feet of the approximately 18,000 square foot building.
Founded in 2015 in Houston to fulfill a vision of constructing a creative, energizing workspace, The Work Lodge offers a variety of all-inclusive workspace services such as:
• Private and virtual offices as well as coworking spaces and conference rooms
• Space for teams from 1 to 100
• Positive and healthy environments for solopreneurs, start-ups and larger corporations
• Unique designs featuring custom-made furniture, cul-de-sac hallway layouts and common areas,.
Fully designed by Founder and CEO Mike Thakur, The Work Lodge displays vibrant, colorful walls and accessories layered on top of the brand’s signature ‘Work Lodge White.’

The total initial investment to open a Work Lodge ranges from $300,000-$1.5 million. The Work Lodge is seeking franchise partners in new markets and markets where The Work Lodge is already present for multi- and single-unit agreements.
