Smith & Nephew Inc. has leased 55,000 square feet at the new 5600 Clearfork Main office building.
“We are very excited to be a new tenant in this premier development,” said Mike Patterson, chief financial officer of the firm’s Fort Worth-based Advanced Wound Management Division.
Planned for the 180,000-square-foot Clearfork campus are six stories of Class A office space on 7.5 acres between the Trinity Trails and Chisholm Trail Parkway. 5600 Clearfork Main will offer what project developer Cassco Development Co. calls an unrivaled location in the heart of Fort Worth with direct connections to the Chisholm Trail Parkway, Hulen Street and Bryant Irvin Road.
Operating nearby will be Neiman Marcus and other retail stores, as well as restaurants at The Shops at Clearfork.
The site is under construction and expected to open in fall 2016.
“Clearfork’s location puts businesses in a superior work environment that offers top quality, modern design and first-class services and amenities to meet the needs of the Fort Worth business culture,” said Todd Burnette, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Fort Worth office. The firm leases office space at the development.
5600 Clearfork Main is near the first phase of Clearfork development already underway. Planned to open this fall are the 400-unit Kelton at Clearfork apartment community, Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop and Press Café. The Shops at Clearfork will feature 500,000 square feet of open-air shopping, dining and entertainment when it opens in February 2017.
