Fort Worth’s The Woodmont Company, a national real estate firm specializing in the development, management, leasing and sale of retail properties, represented Strumolo’s in 3,530-square-foot lease at 310 N Oak Street, along Restaurant Row, in Roanoke.
Strumolo’s, which opened on Aug. 1, is a Belleville, New Jersey based Italian restaurant featuring family-style dining. It serves Italian dishes using owner Vinnie Strumolo’s family recipes.
“We are always excited to add additional eclectic, unique dining options to our existing flourishing restaurant scene,” said Roanoke Assistant City Manager Cody Petree. “Roanoke is an immensely popular dining destination which is compelling for patrons due to the great variety of cuisines and fine dining experiences.”
Derek Anthony of The Woodmont Company represented Strumolo’s. The landlord, Newstream Commercial, represented itself.
“This was a great opportunity for Strumolo’s to share their food in Texas’ premier dining area,” said Anthony. “The city was excited to add such a unique dining concept for its residents and visitors.” “There are so many transplants in Texas these days and starving for authentic Family-Style Italian food. This will complement the great pallet of food choices on Oak Street and surrounding Roanoke.”
Vinnie Strumolo has a long lineage of family cooks that date back to Ellis Island arrival and the migration of his strong Italian heritage.
