Sundance Square to get toy store

Sundance Square is getting ready to play as it prepares for the opening of its newest retailer.

Houston Street Toy Company will open at Sundance Square before Christmas. The shop will be located at Houston Street between Overland Sheepskin Company and Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

The store will have 1,843 square feet of stuffed animals, games, books and other toys.

“Opening a toy store in Sundance Square fills a niche we believe will draw new customers,” said Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square. “We are always looking to add stores that will attract a savvy customer who enjoys a fabulous shopping experience.”

“Bringing Houston Street Toy Company to life in Sundance Square has been a long-term goal and I’m glad to see it coming to fruition,” Ross said. “We will open the store just in time for holiday shopping season and will offer kids a magical experience.”
