The premium fast-casual chicken restaurant is set to open its first Fort Worth location in on Feb. 16 at 1217 8th Ave. The opening will mark Super Chix’s fifth location.

“Our simple, no-fuss chicken will be a terrific addition to the vibrant Near Southside neighborhood,” said Super Chix Founder and CEO Nick Ouimet, in a news release. “We’re continuing to see our fan base grow with chicken-centric and custard lovers as we spread our wings across the Metroplex.”

Super Chix’s chicken is marinated daily, hand-breaded and then cooked in refined peanut oil without the use of MSG, HFCS or phosphates. Their chicken can also be ordered as sandwiches, chicken tenders or the Southwest Chicken Salad and the House Salad.

For sides the restaurant offers fries; fried pickles; cheese fries with queso blanco; loaded fries topped with queso blanco, Nashville Hot, bacon and chive; and southern coleslaw and fruit cups.

The restaurant also serves frozen custard in a cone or cup of the daily Vanilla, Chocolate or Swirl offerings, and hand spun vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, mint and salted caramel shakes. The menu also features Super Chix’s Signature Cold Fusions, such as the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, Coffee Toffee and Pretzel M&M, or customers can create their own Cold Fusion.
