The renaissance along Fort Worth’s South Main Street continues with the announcement today of plans to open The 4 Eleven this fall, a warehouse refurbished into an event and retail space.

Located in a carefully restored 18,000 square-foot warehouse at 411 S. Main St., the building will house an event venue as well as local shops The Greenhouse 817, LTO, Winton and Waits, and gourmet popsicle maker Alchemy Pops. Space is also available for a full-service restaurant and bar.

The group behind The 4 Eleven saved the 1920s warehouse from being demolished to build a parking garage. The ownership team, which includes some of the creators of BREWED and the owners of 6th Ave Homes.

“What was once an aging building in a rundown part of town captured our hearts because we saw the endless possibilities to create a new kind of fun in Fort Worth,” said Jana Clark, a co-owner of The 4 Eleven. “We wanted to preserve the building’s character while adding value to the area, so we kept the best and revitalized the rest. Our goal is to make The 4 Eleven and South Main a destination for locals and visitors alike.”

The 4 Eleven’s spacious event venue features multiple flexible spaces to allow for customizable floor plans for celebrations ranging from wedding ceremonies and receptions to nonprofit fundraisers, corporate team-building sessions, holiday parties and more. The main warehouse is an open, airy space that can accommodate up to 420 guests. The mezzanine that overlooks the warehouse offers a great views with plenty of natural light.

Outdoor spaces include a garden patio and a courtyard with vintage brick walls, offering two distinctive spaces for celebrating al fresco. The Baker suite – a nod to the building’s original name – is artfully appointed with mid-century modern finds and is perfect for more intimate gatherings. The venue is now available to be booked for as early as November 2017. Karl Marshall, the former director of special events at Dallas Market Center, is The 4 Eleven’s general manager and a co-owner. He has more than 20 years of experience in the events industry, working on everything from intimate weddings to large-scale fashion show production.

“One of the most exciting things about The 4 Eleven is how remarkably beautiful the venue is in its natural state,” said Marshall. “It is a truly magical place – a blank canvas with unlimited potential to be designed for a variety of events. I can’t wait to see all that it will become!”
