How would you like to gaze down upon the downtown that has become the envy of the nation? Fort Worth’s downtown is tops in the country, according to livability.com, and with a penthouse view you can check it out anytime you want.

The penthouse at the Omni Residences, 1301 Throckmorton St., is for sale. The property is a few short steps away from Fort Worth’s active downtown and a short distance from West 7th Street and the Cultural District.

Robert Rowling, founder of Dallas-based TRT Holdings, the holding company of Omni Hotels & Resorts, owns the penthouse and has placed it on the market for $7.9 million.

The penthouse, featured on the cover of Modern Luxury Texas magazine, captures the beautiful Fort Worth skyline through 12-foot, floor-to-ceiling walls of windows and five wide balconies.

“There’s nothing else like this in Fort Worth right now – perhaps in all of North Texas,” said Allison Hayden, an agent with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty who is representing the homeowners, along with colleague Margo Bentsen. “You won’t find the views coupled with the incredible finishes in any other residence.”

Designer Adrienne Akin Faulkner created an open floor plan with sleek, modern styling and a nod to the owners’ world travels. With a little over 10,000 square feet, the penthouse has four bedrooms, more than five bathrooms, five living areas including a formal salon and several lounges, and two dining areas. To get there, the penthouse has an elevator and private entry. The outdoor spaces include a dining balcony with fire pit.

“We are seeing more people attracted to everything that downtown Fort Worth has to offer, from shopping and dining to museums and culture,” Bentsen said. “The Omni Penthouse provides a beautiful home base for exploring and enjoying this great city.”
