University/Berry Street Urban Village workshops underway

Workshops are underway to help design ideas for future development in the University/Berry Urban Village. A neighborhood design workshop was held on Saturday, but there are several other events this week.

Among the events: Monday, Oct. 13 and Tuesday, Oct. 14: Lunch and learn sessions from noon until 1 p.m. at TCU’s Brown-Lupton University Union (BLUU) Auditorium, 2901 Stadium Drive. An open house at the same location from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening. A final presentation will be made from 6-8 on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

These events are designed to bring stakeholders together to collaborate on planning and design efforts. For more information:  

Robert Francis
Robert is a Fort Worth native and longtime editor of the Fort Worth Business Press. He is a former president of the local Society of Professional Journalists and was a freelancer for a variety of newspapers, weeklies and magazines, including American Way, BrandWeek and InformatonWeek. A graduate of TCU, Robert has held a variety of writing and editing positions at publications such as the Grand Prairie Daily News and InfoWorld. He is also a musician and playwright.
