Walsh adds three homebuilders to initial phase in Fort Worth neighborhood

The 7,200-acre Walsh development has added some new homebuilders. The developers have announced MK Homes, Parkhill Signature Homes and Glendarroch Homes as additional homebuilders selected to build in the development’s initial phase.

The three additional homebuilders are Fort Worth-based and will create custom designs the community, with signature and high-profile lots available beginning this fall.

“MK, Glendarroch and Parkhill Signature Homes each bring a unique and impressive touch in custom design and homebuilding to Walsh,” Jake Wagner said in a news release.

Wagner is the co-CEO of Republic Property Group, the lead development group at Walsh.

“We’re excited to add three excellent local homebuilders to the mix we offer to residents looking for a home in the next great neighborhood of Fort Worth,” Wagner said.

MK HOMES

MK Homes, est. 1995, is family owned and operated and known for its custom homes. The company praises its craftsmanship, hands-on building practices and commitment to customer service. Initial Walsh properties from MK Homes will include floorplans as large as 5,000 square feet.

PARKHILL SIGNATURE HOMES

Parkhill Signature Homes is an interesting company in that Ami and Blue Hillman founded it exclusive for Walsh. The Fort Worth-based homebuilding company prides itself on offering customers a full-service boutique building experience. Walsh’s Parkhill Signature Homes will feature 2,500-4,000+ square foot floorplans.

Glendarroch Homes is known for building and renovating custom homes in the greater Fort Worth area. Walsh’s Glendarroch Homes will feature 3,500+ square foot custom plans.

THE DEVELOPMENT

Initial homes at Walsh are zoned for the Aledo Independent School District, which opened a new elementary school within walking distance from homes at Walsh in August.

According to the release, residents will also have access to a market, a 10,000-square-foot gym, a family pool with cabanas and kids’ areas, a separate Junior Olympic lap pool, daycare facilities, community coworking spaces, a Makerspace, miles of hiking and walking trails, and the nation’s fastest residential internet.

The 587 home sites range from 3,850 square feet to nearly an acre and are within a five-minute walk of a community park. Prices start in the upper $200s.

Builders for the initial phase of the development include MK Homes, Parkhill Signature Homes, and Glendarroch join Britton Homes, David Weekley Homes, Drees Homes, HGC Residential Development, Highland Homes, Toll Brothers and Village Homes.
