Waterside adding clinic, museum and tan offerings

The Grove at Waterside

Waterside is about to open three new offerings at the southwest Fort Worth development.

Coming to the area are White Integrated Health Clinic, Play Street Museum and Sol Sunless, which will join the mixed-use property this year, following the recent openings of AT&T and Yogurtland, which opened on Dec. 28 and Jan. 1, respectively.

White Integrated Health Clinic will open a new chiropractic clinic in March at 5925 Convair Drive, Suite 509. Dr. Dale White Jr. and staff will provide nonsurgical care for spine, disc and musculoskeletal conditions. Services offered will include MLS laser therapy, spinal decompression, physical modalities and procedures, acupuncture, active rehabilitation and more.

Play Street Museum, a small format children’s museum for early childhood education, will open in July at 5925 Convair Drive, Suite 533. Created to resemble a town square, Play Street Museum will feature interactive exhibits and kids’ activities purposefully designed to encourage independence, exploration and creativity.

Sol Sunless, an airbrush tanning studio, will open later this year at 5924 Convair Drive, Suite 408. The trained staff at Sol Sunless will use a premium private label sunless solution to provide custom airbrush and spray booth tanning services.

Waterside will also host a number of events this year, including its weekly Wine Down Wednesdays, sponsored by REI, which has a store at the property. Every Wednesday at 6 p.m. from March 6 to October 30, a yoga instructor from REI will teach a free one-hour yoga class on the patio deck in The Grove at Waterside. Wine Down Wednesdays participants are encouraged to bring their own mats and water. Following each class, Waterside tenants including Piattello Italian Kitchen and Tricky Fish will offer drink specials for participants.

Waterside’s Wine Down Relay, benefiting Streams and Valleys, Inc. – a non-profit that focuses on Trinity Trails expansion, beautification and safety – will take place on Sunday, March 24 at 8 a.m. Teams of two or four runners will make a loop around the Trinity Trails for an 18-mile race over the Trinity River and across the new FitWorth pedestrian bridge at Waterside, which opened in November 2018. Following the race, participants will enjoy wine tastings, free photos and live music in The Grove.
