Weitzman Group, Cencor rebrand as Weitzman

New brand

The Texas commercial real estate service firm which operates as The Weitzman Group and Cencor Realty Services announced it is now rebranding itself as simply “Weitzman.”

The new name, as well as a new logo and color scheme, reflects the prominence the company has gained since it first opened its doors more than 25 years ago, according to a company news release.

“When we first began more than 25 years ago, we saw the two-name approach as a way to differentiate our service lines as the new kid on the block. But as we become one of Texas’ best known commercial real estate firms, the market, our clients, our stakeholders and even our employees often referred to us as simply Weitzman. The market showed us the power of a single well-known name reflecting our range of services and expertise,” said Marshall Mills, Weitzman president and CEO.

The new Weitzman brand will be rolled out over the next 12 months. Signage at the company’s Dallas headquarters and its offices in Austin, Houston and San Antonio are being updated. Along with the new Weitzman branding, the firm also launched a new web site on January 4.

“A single brand represents our evolution and growth as a company, and it reflects our values in a beautifully simple, direct and powerful way,” said Herb Weitzman, executive chairman. “The new brand fully reflects our company’s culture of market knowledge, client service, professionalism and giving back to the community.”

The firm operates statewide with 250 employees and associates. On the project representation side, it leases 44 million square feet, and as a property and asset manager, it manages a portfolio of 22 million square feet.
