Whole Foods coming to southwest Fort Worth

Whole Foods is coming to the 63-acre Waterside mixed-use development on part of the former Lockheed Martin Recreation Association grounds in west Fort Worth, Trademark Property Co., the developer, said.

The 45,000-square-foot store, to be Whole Foods’ first in Fort Worth, is scheduled to open by Spring 2016, Trademark said.

“We are thrilled to bring Whole Foods Market to Fort Worth,” Trademark CEO Terry Montesi said. “There is no retailer more in demand in our hometown than Whole Foods Market and it’s the perfect fit for our development. Waterside, the first place of its kind, will take the retail/mixed-use experience to a new level.”
