Dog Haus Prepares to Bring the Absolute Würst to Arlington, Texas
Baseball and hot dogs have long been a match made in mustard heaven. No surprise then that Dog Haus – the craft casual gourmet all beef hot dogs, handcrafted sausages, Black Angus beef burgers, fried chicken sandwich, and local craft beers on tap – is coming to North Texas’ baseball city: Arlington. The Dog Haus Biergarten location in Arlington broke ground recently with a planned grand opening set for later this summer.
Located at 4000 Bagpiper Way, Ste. 100, in Arlington Highlands, the restaurant will be franchisee Ron Ryan’s second location with the rapidly expanding craft casual brand. Ryan’s first location with the brand, Dog Haus Biergarten Richardson, opened in Texas two years ago at 744 S. Central Expy. in the Richardson Restaurant Park and since then has received rave reviews, recently being awarded “Best New Restaurant” and “Best Sandwich” in Richardson Living’s Best Bites readers’ poll, as well as winning “Best New Restaurant” in Network’s Food Pantry’s “Fork Off” competition.
“Our Richardson location has been a huge hit, so expanding in Dallas-Fort Worth was a no-brainer,” Ryan said. “We couldn’t be more excited to introduce our chef-driven gourmet creations to everyone in Arlington and beyond. I have no doubt that the community will love Dog Haus’ all beef hot dogs, handcrafted sausages and burgers made with never-ever meat from Creekstone Farms, as well as our plant-based proteins from Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat®, all served in an energetic and fun environment where guests can enjoy their favorite local craft beers.”
Because everything is bigger in Texas, Dog Haus Biergarten Arlington Highlands will be one of the national brand’s largest locations. The 2,601-square-foot restaurant will feature a full bar with 24 beers on tap, multiple high-definition big screen televisions, a covered patio with outdoor bar space, custom playlists and more.
The new Arlington restaurant will be the second Dog Haus in Texas. Additional locations are planned throughout Dallas-Fort Worth – land has been purchased for a third Dog Haus Biergarten location at Lake Highlands Town Center in Dallas, with an expected completion date of late 2019. Lake Highlands will be Ryan’s first ground-up project with Dog Haus.
