Fine-dining Mexican restaurant opening first U.S. location in Fort Worth

A world-class fine-dining Mexican restaurant is coming to Fort Worth’s Museum District.

Don Artemio Restaurant has leased 5,300 square feet of space, formerly the location of a Mr. Gatti’s, at 3268 W 7th. Based in Saltillo, Mexico, the capital of Coahuila in Northeastern Mexico, this will be their first U.S. location. Colonial Commercial’s Jennifer Dyess and Michael Berkowitz represented the tenant. Rodger Chiefallo represented the landlord.

Juan Ramon Cardenas is the executive chef and owner of Don Artemio, the Five Diamond Award winning, upscale Mexican restaurant specializing in innovative Modern Mexican Cuisine as well as the owner of Villa Ferre, a special event venue that hosts up to 13,000 guests for weddings and corporate events.

He is the former director of CANIRAC (National Restaurant Association) and pioneer of the Culture of Wine in Saltillo as well as Mexican Gastronomy Programs at the University of Technologic of Monterrey. Cardenas is recognized with the San Pascual Award as Top Chef in Mexico 2012.
