Celebrity judges will choose their favorite burger while guests will again select a fan favorite for both burgers and beer. Throughout the evening, enjoy the live blues band lineup.
Thurber Mingus has an interesting entry that is sure to turn heads this year. “It is topped with braised wild Texas mushrooms blended with a bold lemon ricotta and Texas pesto,” says Coby Baumann, Chef and Owner of Thurber Mingus. “It is a perfect combination in one bite. It hits you with an earthiness from the mushrooms, creaminess from the cheese, a nice citrus note from the lemon and the pesto brings it all together at the end,” Baumann says. “The festival is a great way to introduce patrons to the unique and new flavors that the city has to offer.”
