National Pie Day is Tuesday March 14 (3.14, get it all you math whizzes?) and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is celebrating by offering a free slice of pecan pie with a $10 purchase to commemorate the million-digit number.
“At Dickey’s, any day is a cause for celebration,” says Emily Bennett, Dickey’s Vice President of Marketing. “We hope our guests will stop in and enjoy our delicious pecan pie as a great finish to an authentic, Texas-style barbecue experience.”
Pi is the ratio between a circle’s circumference and its diameter. Pie is a circle of deliciousness, cut into triangles to be enjoyed after a hearty meal. But there is no math required to enjoy Dickey’s delicious pecan pie on pi day or any other day.
