It’s taco time in Texas apparently: help wanted

Velvet Taco

Looking to get into the taco business? Everyone else is. Not only does one locally-owned taco place get a big investment, but Velvet Taco’s Fort Worth location is seeking some workers at their West Seventh location.

According to their press rlease, Velvet Taco not only “makes freakin’ great food…It’s a freakin’ great place to work, too.”

The Fort Worth location – at 2700 W. Seventh St. – is hosting a job fair on Wednesday, March 2, from 2 – 4 p.m.

Don’t expect to put your feet up and kick back too often. According to the release: “Now, if you’re looking for a slow-paced job where you stare at the clock all day waiting for someone to walk in the door, move right along. Velvet Taco is busy day and night, and they’re serious about having fun while they work.”

“If you’ve got plenty of energy and like the idea of earning $10 to $11 per hour as a part-time front-of-the-house guy or gal, you should come by on Wednesday and check us out,” said Michael Wynn, general manager of the Fort Worth restaurant. “We like to think we offer the perfect job for people who enjoy working in a fun and social environment. We even offer flexibility in work hours, so we’re happy to accommodate folks who prefer days, nights or weekends.”

To apply, walk-in during Wednesday’s job fair or email Michael.Wynn@velvettaco.com.
