MAX’s Wine Dive in Fort Worth has named Jenna Kinard as its new executive chef.
Kinard began cooking at an early age, recreating her Czech family recipes passed down from her grandmother. Her official culinary career began at age 14 at a local pizzeria. Eventually, she received her big break while working for a catering company serving meals to performers on the Warped Tour and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Kinard’s true motivation to pursue a career as a chef began after facing a life-threatening battle with anorexia nervosa.
“I used food to conquer and overcome my demons and fell in love with it at the same time,” she said. “I’m able to express myself, my background and family history through every dish I create. It’s a true art form for me that I use to touch each guest.”
Family-owned MAX’S Wine Dive is located near downtown Fort Worth at 2421 W. Seventh St
