MAYFEST, INC. ANNOUNCES TITLE SPONSOR FOR MAYFEST RUN 2016
Mayfest, Inc. earlier announced that EECU Credit Union has joined with Mayfest as the title sponsor for the EECU Mayfest Run 2016. This is the first year that EECU Credit Union has collaborated with the Mayfest festival.
The EECU Mayfest Run will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 beginning at Farrington Field and finishing at the Riverbank Stage inside Mayfest grounds. The EECU Mayfest Run features a 1 Mile Fun Run and the USATF certified 5K and 10K runs along the Trinity River. An awards ceremony featuring music, food and beverages will follow the race.
Each EECU Mayfest Run participant receives free admission to Mayfest all days of the festival by showing their bib at the ticket booth. For more information and to register for the EECU Mayfest Run, visit www.mayfest.org.Â
Mayfest, presented by Mayfest, Inc., is a four day family festival that attracts over 225,000 people annually. Mayfest is Fort Worth’s oldest family festival and spreads over 33 acres in beautiful Trinity Park. Over 3,000 volunteers contribute over 12,000 hours of service during the annual event. All profits from Mayfest, $6.9 million to date, are distributed to its founding partners that support the greater Fort Worth area through the beautification and recreational development of the Trinity River and local parks, as well as various community programs.
