Salsa Limón Centro prepares to open downtown

🕐 1 min read

After food-tuck fame, brother and sister team, Ramiro and Rosalia (better known as Milo and Ro) Ramirez have continued branching their tasty taco empire across town. Their newest (fourth brick and mortar), known as Salsa Limón Centro opens its doors to the public this week at 550 Throckmorton, at the base of the Tower. It was supposed to be a quiet roll out, but people smelled tacos and the line began forming early Monday.

The former Qdoba has been transformed, but the menu hasn’t been. People can’t get enough of the Oaxacan style tacos topped with crunchy cabbage slaw and a squeeze of lime. The design embraces the concrete base support structure and is lit by dangling black can lights.

Centro, the first Salsa Limón with a full bar, which has an expanded drink menu, but still includes old favorites like the Salsita’s Michelada which is like a spicy Bloody Mary topped off with tangy Tajín seasoning blend.
