Dallas Wings games will broadcast across four states
As part of a new agreement with FOX Sports Southwest, all 2018 Dallas Wings home games will be broadcast live throughout the majority of Texas and Oklahoma, as well as in portions of Arkansas and Louisiana, a news release said. Games will be televised on either FOX Sports Southwest or FOX Sports Southwest Plus.
“We want to thank FOX Sports Southwest for their continued partnership and support,” President/CEO Greg Bibb said in the release. “We are thrilled Wings broadcast will reach parts of four states. We are excited that fans throughout the region will get to see the best professional women’s basketball players in the world throughout the summer.”
FOX Sports will televise 18 games, the most in Wings history. Sixteen will air on Fox Sports Southwest Plus, with the other two on Fox Sports Southwest. The release explained that, additionally, all Wings telecasts on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Southwest Plus will be available on the FOX Sports GO live-streaming platform.
Regular-season coverage on FOX Sports Southwest will begin Sunday, May 20 at 2 p.m. CT with the home opener against the Atlanta Dream. Coverage will include pre-game interviews and an in-depth look at the 2018 Wings roster.
Ron Thulin will return as play-by-play announcer, joined by TCU head coach Raegan Pebley as the primary analyst. Bob Steinfeld will serve as producer.
