Attention ladies of Howard University: BMOC Nick Cannon is officially eligible.
The actor/musician, 36, and his ex, pop diva Mariah Carey, 46, finally signed divorce papers after splitting up in 2014, according to tabloid reports. The end of the Cannon/Carey union comes just as news got out that Carey and her fiance, billionaire businessman James Packer, had also ended their relationship.
Howard student and “America’s Got Talent” host Cannon has long been friendly with his ex, with whom he has two kids, revealing in a July interview on the Howard Stern show that “Mariah and I are super cool. We talk every day.”
Cannon’s own relationship status is unclear: Tabs have him maybe-dating Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of 90s girl group TLC.
Cannon is Chief Creative Officer at electronics retailer RadioShack, headquartered in Fort Worth.Â
