Allied Electronics, the Fort Worth-based trading brand of Electrocomponents plc, has signed a distribution agreement with ON Semiconductor, a global semiconductor firm. “The addition of ON Semiconductor to the Allied linecard offers customers a premium brand focused on energy-efficient solutions for their electronics applications,” said Frank Cantwell, vice president of product management at Allied, commenting in a news release. “We are excited to continue our pursuit of globally recognized partnerships to fulfill our customers’ expanding needs,” Cantwell said. Allied has more than 2,000 ON Semiconductor products in stock and anticipates quarterly expansion of top sellers and new product introductions. Allied Electronics is an electronic components and electromechanical product distributor with more than 50 sales offices in the U.S. and Canada.
