Different day, different car? There’s an app for that

Choosing a new automobile is taking on a whole new meaning at Park Place Dealerships.

The luxury automobile company is launching a subscription service on May 1 called Park Place Select. It will let customers match a car to their lifestyle – no matter what the lifestyle might be that day.

Subscribers can choose from a variety of vehicles in three tiers, and they can change vehicles as often as they want.

“Consumer behavior patterns have been shifting over the course of the past few years. We have analyzed these trends and have worked with Clutch Technologies to align Park Place Select with market needs and to correspond with these shifts,” said Dave Evans, marketing director for Park Place Dealerships. “This has been a collective effort from many different team members within Park Place as well as Clutch.”

All three tiers have a $750 one-time registration. All three include unlimited flips (vehicle exchanges), insurance, maintenance, cleaning and personal concierge. The tiers and vehicles within them are:

– Prime: $895 monthly fee, Mercedes-Benz C Class and GLC Class, Volvo S60, Lexus ES and IS, Jaguar XE, Land Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport.

– Plus: $1,395 monthly fee, Mercedes-Benz E Class and GLE Class; Volvo XC90; Lexus RC, GS, and GX; Jaguar XF and F Pace; Land Rover Evoque Cabriolet, and Porsche Macan.

– Premium: $1,795 monthly fee, Maserati Ghibli and Levante, Mercedes-Benz 43 AMG models, Porsche Boxter and Cayenne, Land Rover Range Rover Sport and Velar.

“Once you become a member and pay for the first 31 days, your subscription will renew automatically monthly after the first period. If you ever want to cancel we will end your subscription after your current month has expired,” Evans said.

All subscription fees are subject to state and local taxes.

“The inventory for each tier of service is crafted to support the moments for our clients’ lives with ample vehicles in each tier to provide the subscriber the best experience,” Evans said.

Once clients have signed up for the service, they can install an app on their phone and/or tablet that will give them direct communication with a concierge. The car will then be delivered with preset radio stations, requested car temperatures and any other special requests based on the client’s profile information.

With unlimited flips, clients can exchange cars as often as they wish. The concierge will arrange for pickup of the vehicle currently in possession and delivery of the new car. Exchanges can be made for a variety of reasons, including date night, family vacations, work events, daily errands or social engagements.
