Hoverboarding priest punished for his new approach to Christmas Eve Mass

A priest glided up and down church aisles, singing songs during a Christmas Eve Mass in the Philippines. Days later, he was reprimanded for his actions.

Why? Because he was on a hoverboard.

Roman Catholic Church officials in the Philippines called his “wrong,” stating that the Mass “demands utmost respect and reverence” and isn’t a “personal celebration . . . to get the attention of the people.”

Rev. Albert San Jose’s hoverboard incident was captured on video and has gone viral since.
