Mouser, Analog Devices sign distribution agreement

Mouser Electronics Inc. of Mansfield and Analog Devices Inc. of Norwood, Mass. have finalized a worldwide distribution agreement allowing Mouser to distribute ADI’s complete product line of data converters, amplifiers and other electronics used for signal-processing applications. “The global partnership between Mouser and ADI is a huge win for our customers,” said Mouser president and CEO Glenn Smith, commenting in a news release. “Combining ADI’s leadership position in high-performance analog products with our global reach makes it possible for design engineers worldwide to obtain the newest technologies from one authorized source,” Smith said. An Analog Devices executive hailed the arrangement. “With our portfolio and Mouser’s Web-based sales and support teams, customers can expect to accomplish great things,” said Thomas Wessel, president of worldwide sales with Analog Devies. Mouser Electronics Inc., a subsidiary of TTI Inc., is part of billionaire investor Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway family of companies. It ships semiconductor and electronic components to more than 375,000 customers in 170 countries from its 492,000-square-foot Mansfield facility. More information is available at www.mouser.com.
