The hotel offers complimentary access to Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, YouTube and Crackle on their in-room LCD TVs.
The Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Solana is one of six hotels nationwide offering complimentary streaming services in coordination with Richardson-based Enseo Inc. Marriott Hotels is the only hospitality brand authorized to provide Netflix on guest room TVs, according to the Bethesda, Maryland-based hotel chain.
In-room entertainment at the Westlake hotel also includes access to YouTube and Crackle, a TV show and movie distributor similar to Netflix and Hulu Plus. Guests can stream Crackle and YouTube videos without needing a username or password. Neither hotel personnel nor Enseo employees will be privy to what guests watch or listen to through the system, according to Marriott.
The Westlake hotel features 7 floors with 288 guest rooms, 6 suites, a restaurant, Starbucks coffeehouse, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and 15 event rooms totaling 14,200 square feet.
