Prosper 4th grader finalist in Doodle for Google contest

Earlier this year, Google kicked off its 10th annual “Doodle for Google” contest, where students from all 53 U.S. states and territories submitted 180,000+ doodles based on the theme, ā€œWhat Inspires Me…ā€ One winner was designated in each state, and Texas’ winner was Folsom Elementary School 4th grader Sia Srivastava from Prosper. On June 4, Google announced the top 5 Doodle for Google finalists, and Srivastava was one of the Top 5,

The national finalists, including Srivastava, will all receive a Pixelbook computer, a $5,000 college scholarship, and a trip to Googleā€™s headquarters in California to celebrate with the other finalists and meet the Doodle Team. For more information on the finalists, visit Google’s blog .
