Ride Television Network Inc., (RIDE TV), a Fort Worth-based nationally distributed television network focused on the equestrian lifestyle, said Nov. 9 it has acquired F2 Media LLC for an undisclosed amount.
F2 Media co-owner Nathan Fletcher will join RIDE TV as the company’s vice president of production.
Founded in 2012, F2 Media is a film and video production company offering creative and production services. RIDE TV was formed in 2011 and launched on Oct. 1, 2014. For the past five years the company has worked with F2 Media to film, edit and deliver content.
RIDE TV President Craig Morris said the acquisition will allow RIDE TV to expand its programming production with the addition of a daily newscast, more live sports, more reality shows and more original series in 2017.
“We are constantly working on new concepts,” Morris said. “Our goal is to continue to broaden our appeal and further our reach throughout the equine industry.”
RIDE TV is available in the United States on Dish, CenturyLink, Armstrong and other cable operators as well as internationally in Latin America.
