Sabre Holdings Inc. of Southlake has launched TripCase Corporate, which it bills as the travel industry’s first set of integrated corporate features on a mobile device.

The app is designed to improve travel programs for corporations while simplifying business travel for employees.

Using the new app, travelers can make reservations outside their corporate travel program and designate when a trip or part of a trip.

The information is captured and shared with the corporation. Sabre said the design is intended to make itinerary management easier for travelers. With the app, travelers can make new bookings in and out of corporate travel policy, share their business travel plans with their company, and receive in-app messages when traveling – all with the same mobile app.

“The consumerization of business travel continues to put pressure on corporations to meet employees’ expectations for simple tools to help them shop, book and manage their business trips,” said John Samuel, senior vice president of Sabre Traveler Solutions, commenting in a news release.

“TripCase Corporate closes the gap between the company’s need for efficiency and control, and the traveler’s desire for flexibility and choice,” Samuel said.

Sabre Holdings provides software to travel agencies, corporations, travelers, airlines and other clients through four businesses: Sabre Airline Solutions, Sabre Hospitality Solutions, Sabre Travel Network and Travelocity. More information is available at www.sabre.com.
