Stanley Black & Decker opening 1.2M SF regional distribution center at Alliance

Stanley Black & Decker has expanded its operations in Texas with a new 1.2-million-square-foot regional distribution center at Alliance Northport in AllianceTexas.

Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK), the world’s largest tools and storage company and leader in engineered fastening and security, announced the new regional Distribution Center in the Town of Northlake and Denton County on Feb. 6. The new center will service central and southern states with an array of power tools and hand tools. It will employ more than 300 workers when it opens next month.

Alliance Northport 3 originally started construction as a 1 million-square-foot speculative industrial building with expansion capabilities to over 1.2 million square feet.

Located in Northlake, at the intersection of Interstate 35W (I-35W) and State Highway 114 (SH-114), Alliance Northport is a 260-acre development which offers one of the lowest tax structures in the region.
