Fort Worth-based TTI Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, on Oct. 2 announced the closing of its acquisition of RFMW Ltd., a privately held RF and Microwave specialty component distributor headquartered in Silicon Valley, California.
RFMW will continue to operate under the RFMW brand name, reporting through the TTI Semiconductor Group (TSG). Joel Levine, company founder and president will remain as president of RFMW, reporting to TSG President, Michael Knight.

RFMW’s company culture, style and focus align well with TTI and are a perfect fit for our specialty distribution model,” said Knight. “Further, they have excellent synergy within our total company and will contribute greatly to TTI’s value proposition for customers and suppliers.”
Earlier in July, TTI announced the acquisition of privately held Compona AG of Switzerland and the company’s German subsidiary Cosy Electronics GmbH.
