Tyco Integrated Security, a security systems integration firm, has announced a new 17,893-square-foot space in Fort Worth to house local sales and operations.

The facility, at 4200 Buckingham Road Suite 150, will allow the company to focus on providing security solutions to commercial businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

“This new location strengthens our promise to help our customers across the region to protect their most valuable assets,” said Kevin Mitchell, the company’s Texas sales manager, commenting in a news release.

“The Metroplex market is one where we’ve seen consistent growth in many industries over the years. Having a new office space helps us provide an improved level of service to customers in the area and enables us to assist local business owners and managers with their unique business challenges,” Mitchell said.

The facility will provide local customers with sales, installation and service, as well as almost 3,000 square feet for warehouse capabilities. About 135 employees occupy the new facility, including an estimated 12 new hires focused on sales, operations, installation, service and administration. The company plans a Feb. 17 ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the expansion.

Tyco Integrated Security, based in Boca Raton, Fla.,  is a unit of Tyco International Ltd. More information is available at www.tycois.com.
