8 TSA workers arrested in parking-pass case

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — An airline employee and eight workers for the federal airport security-screening agency have been arrested on charges related to the theft and resale of parking passes at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Airport police said Friday that 129 employee parking passes were stolen in March from an airport office of Fort Worth, Texas-based American Eagle airlines.

Police said that some passes were sold for $100 each to Transportation Security Administration employees, who used them to park in airport employee lots. TSA workers normally have to pay $400 a year to park in those lots.
